God was not obliged to save the human race. It was not something that He was forced to do. It is difficult to imagine the Godhead saying, “Had we done this or that, Adam and Eve would not have fallen into sin. Therefore, now we should do something to save them from their predicament.” Instead, humans brought upon themselves the condition in which they found themselves after the Fall: “ ‘God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes’ ” (Eccles. 7:29, NIV).
If God felt obliged to save us, salvation would be something that we deserve. But the opposite is true; it is something that we don’t deserve, and yet, God was willing to give it to us anyway. This makes His work of salvation in our behalf even more remarkable, because He did for us, not what He was forced to do, but what He out of love chose to do. He, the Creator, was under no obligation to us, the creatures.

Read Romans 5:6–8. According to these texts, what prompted God to bring salvation to us through Jesus?
Verse 6 says "while we were yet weak, Christ died for us". This would imply that God was moved by out inability, obviously, to save ourselves from the fall from sin we got ourselves into. Knowing this ahead of time before creation and having His perfect plan through Jesus Christ to redeem the world whom He loved, God the Father send Christ to die for us while we were yet sinners.

The law brings all of creation under subjection to the judgment of God. It gives us a better knowledge of sin as also reveals God's righteousness as something we can all attain through faith in Jesus Christ. Now while following the law and doing good works alone will not justify us in God's eyes, redemption in Jesus Christ will.
What role does the law have in solving the problem cause by sin? The law defines the problem caused by sin. It defines our status before the law. Since sin brings confusion, the Law provides clarity and a reality check
As a father I try to put myself in the shoes of God the Father... it is difficult to understand the horrifying decision and suffering of the divinity in seeing Christ first become human for eternity, thus providing one degree of separation in their eternal fellowship. Then seeing Christ suffer the horrible death and restraining Himself from action to protect those who were not interested in Christ offer of salvation. As a father I can't bring myself to even consider putting my son through that experience and worst for an insignificant part of the universe.
